DJ Samantha Ronson swaps Lohan for koala

Celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson has left her girlfriend, Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan, in the US but is hoping to get up close to a koala during her first trip to Australia.

The 31-year-old has flown into Sydney to DJ at the third birthday celebrations of the Hilton Hotel's Zeta Bar on Wednesday night.

Posting a her personal blog page shortly after arriving in the harbour city, Ronson said she was already missing "someone".

It attracted an immediate response from Lohan, who wrote "guess who loves you...".

Ronson also said she was keen to get out and see some of the local attractions while in Sydney.

"I am looking forward to seeing this city," Ronson wrote.

"Two things I plan on doing.... 1. see a koala bear :) 2. check out the ksubi store here :).

"I plan on taking lots of pictures."

Ronson is due to play a two hour set to a guest list of 400 people on Wednesday night, before jetting out of Sydney on Thursday to play at an event in Toronto, Canada.
